Lead civil and structure engineer

Lead Civil engineering team to develope the logical and economical design, drawings and other deliverable issues. - Technical input data for FEED, feasibility and other studies. - Ensure that all aspects of design (technical quality, checking of drawings and supporting documents) and engineering works are carried out in professional manner. - Responsible for performance of the personnel within the team. - Effective integration with other discipline engineers to ensure all interfaces are adequately covered.

- Lead Civil engineering team to develope the logical and economical design, drawings and other deliverable issues. - Technical input data for FEED, feasibility and other studies. - Ensure that all aspects of design (technical quality, checking of drawings and supporting documents) and engineering works are carried out in professional manner. - Responsible for performance of the personnel within the team. - Effective integration with other discipline engineers to ensure all interfaces are adequately covered. - Response to Technical Query and change orders. - Ensure the timely completion of deliverable documents and man-hour control and reporting their progress if needed. - Material selection and technical bid evaluation (TBE). - To hold or participate in multidisciplinary Engineering/Requested meetings to ensure all interfaces are adequately covered. - Site surveillance and lead the site supervision dept. - Professional material and man hour estimation. - Responsible for managing of subcontracts design in accordance with relevant project coordination procedure. Also : Optimization skills: A. Practical skill to provide a professional Man hour estimation in order to release the applicable HR arrangement plan as per project critical path with decreasing at least 8% of man hour cost regarding to project WBS. B. Ability to organize and release the work fronts for the DISORDERED projects, based on project demand to achieve the maximum construction progress with best quality at minimum time. (Decreasing at least 5% of both machinery and man hour costs) C. Able to work with the optimum effective supervision regarding to activity list.

- Manage the Supervision on UG civil activities and AG concrete structures. - Manage the Supervision on industrial building architectural details (e.g.Laboratory, Administration, Control and Substation buildings). - Ensure that all inspection and testing activities , Hold & Witness points and other requirements - identified within the inspection & Test Plans (ITP) - are fully implemented by the contractors. - Lead and/or participate in quality reviews, investigations and site audits as directed by the Quality Team Lead (QTL). - To liaise with other discipline engineers to ensure all interfaces are adequately covered. - Raise the field inspection reports (FIR) for observation of subcontractors’ works affecting quality and follow up on resolution. - Verify and implement the logical and economical solutions to site problems. - Timely and effective collaboration with field design engineering team for resolution of conflicts found on site or as raised by subcontractors. - Participate in the decision process relating to the disposition of non-conformances, concessions to specification and codes that are requested by contractor. - Submit weekly discipline report and provide other accurate/timely input to various site reports. - Review and approve the contractors invoice / estimation (MTO).

- Supervision on junction towers, belt conveyors and ship loader structures (over 4400 tons Steel structures)includes Columns, Beams, Bracing, Ladders, Gratings, Stairs, Platforms, Hand rails. - Promote surveillance of all inspection and testing activities in accordance with the project quality documents. - Verify and implement the logical and economical solutions to site problems. - Communicate all potential quality-related risk and improvement issues to the Project Manager & Quality Team Lead (QTL). - Witness the Settlement monitoring as per the program. - Submit weekly discipline report and provide other accurate/timely input to various site reports. - Estimation (MTO) and Prepare the purchase requisition for required material. - Demonstrate HSE leadership by actively engaging the project site team and construction contractors with actions that contribute to delivering on company HSE expectations.

- Control and monitoring the quality of work. - Prepare specific work procedures, flow charts, work flows and monitored implementations. - Report to line manager on progress any discrepancy or non-conformance. - Timely and effective communication with field design engineering team for resolution of conflicts found on site or as raised by subcontractors. - Promote surveillance of all inspection and testing activities in accordance with the project quality documents. - Estimation (MTO) and Prepare the purchase requisition for required material.

- Supervision as Civil QC inspector on Structures & foundations including UG/AG concrete elements (E.g. foundation of manhole ,catch basin ,pits, pipe supports ,tank ,pipe rack, gas turbine, exchanger, pump , compressor) . - Supervision as Civil QC inspector on all architectural details relevant to industrial buildings (E.g. Laboratory, Site office, Control and Substation , Warehouse and Work shop Building) - Review project specification/code requirements, drawings and their implementations. - MTO of Civil /Building and Steel structure items. - Supervise company discipline QC site team and deploy inspectors according to ITP and project priorities; develop performance criteria and ensure expectations are being met.
